Convert Pages to TXT

Fonts, images, precise positioning, page design, and other visual formatting are intentionally discarded. TXT keeps readable words in a linear text stream. That is useful for copying, search, analysis, or scripts, but it is not intended to reproduce how the Pages looked.

The converter has to turn the page into one reading sequence. Multiple columns, sidebars, or floating text can interleave in the TXT output because visual position does not always define one clear order. Review complex Pages layouts and rearrange extracted blocks where needed.

Yes. TXT is plain text, so the recovered words can be searched, copied, edited, indexed, or passed into scripts and other text-processing tools. The tradeoff is that the original visual layout is gone, so use the source file when presentation still matters.
